Sycolin Road/Route 643 Scheduled Closure starting June 22

    FYI: Yesterday I noticed road signs went up advising that Sycolin Road/Route 643 will be closed starting at Goose Creek from June 22nd through September 4th for the paving project.

    Plus side is the road will finally be paved! Downside, cut through to RT 7 mia for 2 1/2 months!

    I was pondering if this means more traffic cutting through to Rt28 with the never ending price hikes for the Greenway when it is paved....

    hrmm.. they talked about the project before.. but not that the road would be closed totally. hrmmmmmmmmm

    Maybe they can dump it on your driveway then :p

    I hate having our car filthy from driving that road every week. The amount of clearing they have done now it really looks like they are prepping for a widening in the future.
