I am looking for a tea room, somewhere to take my girls and Mom for a fun afternoon of tasty treats. Shopping nearby is always a plus, as is the opportunity to wear hats.

I thought I read somewhere that Alexandria has one.

Oatlands Plantation is on my radar, but no events this month.

    Any ideas?

Gatsby's Tavern in Alexandria has a tea with Martha Washington. It's more an 18th century style tea.

We have also done the Ritz for tea, both Pentagon and Tysons. Very enjoyable, especially around the holidays.

The British Pantry may also do it...
