To the young man in the orange hoodie driving a dark blue Acura 3.2 who picked up a friend on Awbrey Place, then proceeded to speed down Truro Parrish on his way to Briar Woods HS; I got your license plate number after you passed me on the right (and I was driving over the speed limit - shame on me) and I've passed that information on to the police. You may never hear from them, but you should be aware that your dangerous driving is being observed by your neighbors.

You need to pass that info on to the SRO at Briar Woods...they have plate info based on parking passes...or turn yourself in for speeding.

Most cops probably wouldn't have pulled me over for going 40 in a 35 zone, but you never know. Thanks for the info about the SRO, I'll keep it in mind, and make sure my kids know about it for when they start driving to school.
