For the egg that your kids threw at our window tonight! You've done a great job of raising your kids and you should be proud. You've really done a great job being involved in your kid's lives teaching them how to be responsible and how to respect people in this neighborhood! Well...no, you actually have done a really crappy job.

Just hoping you at some point realize that you need to step up and start acting liking a parent and not a best friend! You are what's wrong with most kids these days.

My dad raised me under a military-rule respect-first roof. I still set off stink bombs, threw snow balls at busses, and tp-ed houses. I also fell into icy streams, built ramps for my bmx and went over my teenaged girlfriends' houses when their parents were at work.

I wouldn't be happy if someone did that to my house, but I wouldn't go blaming everyone for not raising their kids right. I hope that the kids get caught, and that they are punished for it. But on a scale of 1 to 10 of delinquency, egging someone's house is a 3. (Egging cars and houses has existed as long as there have been eggs and windows. Not a modern parenting issue.)

Agree and sorry for blaming the whole neighborhood for a few kids, eggs, and apples (of all things). It scared our kids, ticked me off but I shouldn't have reacted that way. I want to apologize for the tirade.

Even good parents have kids who do dumb things. I know I did.
