Does anyone know any restaurant in the area that holds a nice Thanksgiving Buffet?

i don't know if Cafe Panache will be open, but if they are I am SURE the food will be splendid! while their brunch buffet has less choices- every offering is prepared to perfection and beyond expectations- unlike larger buffets with a huge variety of mediocre choices... :)

that said- i dunno who is open on turkey day!

I am going to assume Lansdowne resort will probably also be offering Thanksgiving dinner as will the Holiday Inn on Route 7 toward Leesburg.

It's not a buffet but we were told that Mimi's Cafe offers a Thanksgiving meal for @ $15 and includes turkey, mashed & sweet potatoes, dessert, cranberry, greenbeans & bread & I think some other stuff. The waitress said they are always busy on that day so maybe make reservations?

We go to Westfields each year - it's a big buffet with both traditional Thanksgiving foods and your typical Sunday brunch selections. It's all very good. For the price of your buffet, you also get a free 5x7 photo/portrait taken of your group. We have been there the past two years and enjoyed it.

Re: Thanksgiving Buffet(s) at Local Restaurants

    Fellow Foodies--

Tuscarora Mill (Tuskie's) in Leesburg and Magnolia's in Purcellville owned by same restaurant group is great for brunch and Thanksgiving dinners.

Mansion Inn Restaurant at Carradoc Hall (old Leesburg Holiday Inn at Route 7 near Leesburg) is good from what I have heard--never been there. Lansdowne Resort is also highly recommended. Of course, there is the Hilton Hotel on Route 28 and the other chain hotels for dinner for the holidays.

Colvin Run Tavern is also good for dinner. Depends on what type of food fare you wish to eat.

    Web sites are--

www.magnoliasmill.com (Magnolia's at the Mill info.)

    www.tuskies.com (Tuscarora Mill's info.)

www.colvinrun.com (Colvin Run Tavern's info and is owned by Bob Kinkead.)

    Good luck--
