this is why I adovocate paintball marking :)

I saw it even the other day at HT... person parks along the curb OUTSIDE THE PARKING SPOTS rather then simply parking in the ample parking 10ft away.

    Just lazy, selfish behavior.

The HOA has no jurisdiction over the shopping centers.

    So it is a do-it-yourself police-like action. ;)

i am kidding about HOA involvement, I am serious about sniping paintballs at
    - curbside squatters
    - idjits who drive across the spaces
    - dbags who speed across the walking area without stopping

... and anyone else who's driving I do not approve of!
    :victory:

i am not serious about shooting at anyone...

Tried that and the fine mother and her daughter in the Lexus SUV told me to f'off.

Problem is when you do that in front of SB at the Safeway Plaza you block traffic coming around the corner and more than one time I have seen or been involved in near misses because the drivers or pedestrians couldn't see around the corner due to the self absorbed vacuous waste of space that left their SUV there.

It is more than just a Fire Lane issue, it is a safety issues as a whole.

But my favorites are the ones that pull up in the Safeway crossing lane, put on their flashers, get out and then go in and shop for 10 minutes or more.:nono:

All the cars in my neighborhood are now either in a garage or driveway because we're getting paved.

See people, it IS possible not to litter the street with SUV's and jalopies!
We all have plenty of garage and driveway space.

Today a silver MB sedan pulls up in front of the ABC store next to Safeway puts on the flashers and a middle aged fat cigarette smoking soon to be drunk gets out and goes into the ABC store to shop for tonight's dinner. But not without first giving me a look that said to me "What is your f'n problem?"

What is up with these people?!?!? Seriously!

    I have two :)

To the BMW driver that thinks they can skip around the long line of cars in line to drop their kids off at the elementary school and likes to speed past that line to get to work, guess what? I work too but wouldn't dare put the lives of kids at risk by pulling an illegal move and speeding past a school AT school start time. Your time is important, so is mine, but kids lives are even more important.

To the parents that park on our street right next to the same Elementary school. Don't block two SUVs wide the road for me to exit my street. You are blocking my view of safely turning onto Ridgeway and avoiding kids going to school in the morning not to mention blocking my view of the cross walk.

Wow- I never new how lucky I was leasing vehicles thru NFCU until breaking out and using LExus Financial for my lease- holy CRAP what a fustercluck of ineptitude and moronicalism! if it's not a word, it should be and the definition should be "see Lexus Financial."

they couldn't even get our county sticker to us, yet )#$*()#$ us around for over 2 months swearing up and down it was on the way before they said "oh WE don't do that for our customers." WHAT??? after 3 of you INCLUDING a manager said it was being mailed? wow. don't EVER lease thru them no matter what kind of deal they offer- the kindergarten level of service they provide isn't worth saving hundreds a month. and i apologize for just now insulting kindergarteners.

MY EMAIL TO LEXUS: (i doubt they will even respond- too many words with more than 4 letters!)

I am so disappointed and disgusted by the absolutely awful service we received from your office- not only will I never lease another vehicle through Lexus, but I will make sure people who ask me (since I DO review businesses) know that something as simple as getting a county sticker is IMPOSSIBLE with your inept department. One person after the next was worse than the previous. It's almost laughable how horrible our service has been. Congratulations on losing a customer who has been a loyal Lexus customer since 2003... I am DONE.

i can tell you that they don't do leases anymore, which is the ONLY reason we ended up in the customer service HELL called Lexus Financial!

but when they DID do leases- NFCU was awesome. we've probably leased/bought 6 or more cars through them...

they still do loans, and we have NEVER had a problem that wasn't a minor misunderstanding in 15+ years.

They need a small sign under stop signs at four way stops saying, "Clockwise" or "yield to the right".

The one at Waxpool and Ashburn Village Dr. is a mess during peak times.
