    Hi all,
hoping I'm not too old, I'm thinking of starting class in some form of Eastern martial art. I'm completely uninterested in competition, more in it to center spiritually and physically, perhaps get into shape and learn some defense while I'm at it... but that's not the main goal, I think.

I was looking at Qi Elements or Great Falls Budokan, anyone have any experience with these or thoughts on other locations that might be good?

    Thanks!

we haven't been there ourselves yet, but plan to check out http://www.synergy-mma.com/ for our son. he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do but his school no longer exists. I was looking to get him into Brazilian Ju Jitsu and/or Judo, and this place offers both. wish my ankle was healthy enough for MMA- I'd LOVE to learn Muy Thai!

My brother studied at a gym in Sterling, near the Chik-Fil-A and the Burlington Coat Factory...It faces rt.7 and is up toward the road...I will find out the name from him and let you know. He did it as an adult too and loved it.
