Service Masters quoted $1,800.00 to clean up. 4x4 ceiling hole, two fans for three days. No drywall repair, No plumbing repair. Is that a fair price? Has anyone had this issue? Can anyone recommend a good plumber? thanks

Did you contact your homeowners insurance? They may pay for a portion of those costs. Sorry I can't recommend a plumber for you.

That's ridiculous .. what are they doing? I'll cut a hole and bring fans for half that! But seriously, unless this was there for a while, there's no mold or other issues. Just cleanup.

It just happened. The hole cutting is only $4.52. The fans (2) and dehumidifiers are $100+ for three days. I think it is excessive too!

We had this happen over Christmas. $2,400 to cut into the drywall, pull up tile, replace all of that, 3+ fans and 2 dehumidifiers for over a week. If you'd like, I can send you the estimate. We filed with homeowners insurance. Paul Davis did the drying and repairs and we were very pleased with them.
