Update from Sheriff

Just an update from last nights board meeting:

I just wanted to remind everyone to close your garage doors at night. There are still a number of items being stolen and several are happening because people are going to bed with their garage doors open.

There are also items being stolen out of unlocked cars, ipods, PDA, etc. Even if your car is in your driveway please remember to lock it before you turn the lights off at night.

The last update we recieved last night was that there seems to be a theftring centered around motorcycles. Be aware that if you have a motorcycle to take extra precaution to secure it as well.

 

Portable GPS systems are currently hot ticket items for thieves.

 

and with weather getting nicer- people will be out later. with all the scooters and bikes i see kids leaving in driveways- i;'m surprised more of them oaren't stolen!
