I'm happy with my current Verizon Wireless service/coverage, but its also the most expensive for our family of 4 smartphones. I'd appreciate any comments on Sprint and TMobile service/coverage in our area and if coverage is good outside of Ashburn. And is it really a savings or is it just good advertising for the other plans?

We just left Sprint for Tmobile last night! Sprint coverage was horrible (HORRIBLE) in Ashburn Farm- dropped calls constantly. They were always "working on the tower" closest to Ashburn. Just awful.

Switched to Tmobile, I will be saving about $40 per month on my bill and I have 4g/LTE coverage (I think that's good). Only had 3G with Sprint.

And Sprint locks the phones to their network so if you leave them you have expensive paperweights. They are also less valuable for resale because they're only for the Sprint network.

Downside to Tmobile is the coverage isn't great in Shenandoah County, where we go often. Upside is they have free international data roaming included.

Sprint in this area SUCKS! Finally, after our list of "dead spots" (including the Ashburn wegmans, home goods shopping center, and most of leesburg) go too big, we made the switch to verizon. From what i know, t-mobile is even worse than sprint in this area. I had sprint in ashburn for over 10 years. We used to like using the direct connect, so we put up with the bad voice/text service for awhile.
