I saw an unused one at Best Buy last night!

 

I am about ready to go in for the hundreds of dollars... I just thought somebody out there would be upgrading for the kids... and would want to sell

 

You might try Costco - sometimes they bundle extra stuff with it. Regardless, Costco will have a good price. I think it's pretty much $199 all over.

 

What about game stop?

That deal is only good for the white Wii. The black one has been reduced to $177. Lots of Wii deals going around this month. Keep looking! Got a black Wii bundle on Amazon a couple of weeks ago for $249 that included: remote plus, numchuk, Resort game, Resort Deluxe game, Sling-something game + remote plus, Epic Mickey + paintbrush. Thought that was a decent deal.

 

i have to share this story... my son has a wii that he rarely plays with several brand new games. he packed it up, priced everything out on amazon and realized that used, everything he has (3 controllers, 10 games, etc.) was worth over $250. he was thrilled about getting that money for his bank account.

so next we started discussing gifts that we were going to give, and the subject came up of 3 of my nephews who live in another state who do not have much at all- no father, on welfare, you get the picture. The Boy says- "do they have a wii?" and I said no. He only paused a second before he said "can I just give them mine for Christmas?"

i love that kid.

 

and check craigslist too... there are deals there for new systems... if you want to take the chance.
