It looks like I need to have work done on my water main and need a plumber who "moles" the lines instead of digging. If anyone has advice and/or can recommend a plumber who does I'd love to hear. I've called three plumbers I know and they don't do this type of work. Dinsmore Plumbing and Crouch Plumbing were recommended by one of the plumbers who came. I've never heard of either and can't find recommendations for them online.

    Any help/advice would be appreciated.

typicalfamily, is this similar to trenchless plumbing? Or, are you referring to a video pipe inspection? Thanks.

I'm referring to trenchless plumbing. I understand very little about this subject. We have a significant leak from the main and it is too deep to be trenched.

We 'may' have a similar issue with our main line; large tree and roots, weak water pressure, etc. Can you share who you used for your video inspection, if you had one done?

I don't know if we're going to bother with a video inspection. The leak is substantial and the plumbers I've had out say we need to have a new line. It is too deep to repair with trenching. None of them do the work. Dinsmore Plumbing will be coming to give me an estimate this week. I'll let you know what I learn.
