    Hi,

We are thinking about a Miele vacuum and were wondering where to buy it locally that would have good support. Searching the forums, it looks like people liked Potomac Vacuum in Leesburg. In trying to find them, it seems that they are now Discount Vacuums.

Does anyone know if they are still reasonable to deal with or if there are better choices?

    Thanks.

(I posted this in the homeowners section, but think it fits here better. I'm not sure how to delete it from there.)

we bought ours from the place near the Giant in Ashburn Farm. I'm not certian but I want to say that Miele prices do not vary much store to store.

No, the prices are pretty much fixed unless you're doing a trade-in. We bought both of ours there when the original owner and then his brother/cousin took over. Since then, correct me if I'm wrong, the business has changed hands twice more and the service had gone downhill. Maybe others have had a different experience.
