Wynridge/Claiborne Pkwy/Ridgeway intersection

    It looks like we may have a traffic signal at this intersection by, hopefully, the end of the year.
    VDOT just requested, and the HOA Board approved, the easements for the installation of the light poles and equipment.

    Sooner the better, someone is going to die there. Watched a van with North Carolina plates run through that intersection at 50 MPH on July 4th.

    Yesterday there was a massive car crash around 6:30pm on that intersection. We really need the traffic lights

    If someone can run a Stop sign, they can run a Red light.

    I fully support this. Were there two accidents last night? We live near corner of Sunstone and Ridgeway and it's a tricky little intersection for us to turn off of our street, but for the greater good, we need to do something. This intersection is flat out dangerous!

    A read light in the middle of the road will grab more people's attention that a small red sign on the side of the road.

    I agree a light will help. But, from what I heard 2nd hand, the 2 drivers in the accident live here. Guessing they should know about that stop sign by now.

    Construction of light at Claiborne and Ridgeway has been underway for about a week. Foundations for signal poles have been dug and utility lines run.
