1.5 Mile Race for Eagle Ridge Students - Awards to top finishers

Briar Woods Cross Country team is going to host our 4th Annual Eagle Ridge 2.5K Race at Eagle Ridge MS on November 17th after school (around 4:00pm). The race is roughly 1.5 miles and is half of the distance we race in Cross Country at the HS level.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, no matter how fast or slow you think you'll be. This race is for 6th, 7th and 8th graders only at Eagle Ridge and Stone Hill Middle Schools. 12 medals will be awarded to the fastest finishers from each grade and gender (8th grader - 1st, 2nd and 3rd; 7th grader - 1st and 2nd; 6th grader - 1st)

Briar Woods Varsity team will be there to help cheer on the runners and answer any questions they might have about our sport. For the first time in school history, both our boys and girls teams are ranked in the state and that is a direct reflection of the talent/interest we've received from younger runners entering the program each season from Eagle Ridge and Stone Hill.

It's not very often you get a chance to run in a race for free - so please encourage your son or daughter to come join us on November 17th!

Race Information & Waiver to Participate

(please note that all athletes participating must bring a signed waiver to participate or else they will not be allowed to race -- you may bring it the day of the race)
