2 deer in the backyard

    Funny that the larger buck does not come out into the open like the younger one.

    First few frames are a camera with the wrong lens - I had taken the correct lens off for an experiment and at the last second before going to bed said I'd better just put any lens on lest I miss something. I'm glad I did!

    In this case it was a 1/3" lens on a 1/2" sensor camera, similar to the effect of putting a Nikon DX lens on a full frame camera.

    "Motion Detect" on the screen in the last few frames is a camera I'm playing with that has that function built in, and relay contact outputs (e.g. activating lighting etc).

    FYI, this corner of the yard appears completely "dark" as it uses 850nm IR lighting which does not seem to bother the deer. Or, they cannot see it I'm not sure which yet.
