5th Annual Scott A. Vivian Memorial Golf Tournament - Sept 18th - Registration Open

Attached please find the registration form for the 5th Annual Scott A Vivian Memorial Golf Tournament. Also known as 19 Holes for Capitol Hospice, this year's event will be held Saturday, September 18th at the Westpark Golf Course. Despite these difficult economic times, we are maintaining the entry fee of $75 per golfer for the fifth consecutive year. A special logo golf shirt will be available for $30 - orders for the shirts need to be submitted by August 20, so get your registration in soon.


Please help us promote this year's event by forwarding this message to friends, neighbors and co-workers. Once again we hope to have a full field of golfers to celebrate Scott's life and to raise funds for a very worthy cause. We hope that you will plan to join us. Fellow Broadlands golfers,

We’re almost a month away from the 5th Annual Scott A. Vivian Memorial Golf Tournament. Registrations are starting to trickle in, and we wanted to encourage you to get your foursome together soon. This year promises to be bigger and better, and we’re very likely going to fill the field again – you won’t want to miss out, so send in your registration now.

We've been hard at work in gathering contributions for great prizes for the tournament and raffle. Area businesses such as Clyde’s, Glory Days, Morton’s, Capital Grille, Embassy Suites, Landsdowne, UVA, Redskins, Dick’s, Wegmans, and Meadow Farms have generously donated goods and gift certificates. If your workplace might be willing to make a contribution, please reply to this email.

We also want to remind you that this year we’ll be ordering special logo golf shirts to commerate the 5th event - - orders need to be submitted by August 20 in order to have the shirts in time for the tournament. Shirts can be ordered via the registration form (attached).

Did you see the advertisement in this month's Broadland's magazine? It's not too late . . . we still have room for a few more foursomes for the 5th Annual "19 Holes for Hospice" tournament on Saturday, September 18th. The $75 entry fee is a great deal - covers golf + cart + food + prizes. We'll also have a raffle and silent auction with items donated by area businesses. All proceeds will benefit Capital Hospice.
