    Here is a useful website for testing the speed of your internet connection. http://home.cfl.rr.com/eaa/Bandwidth.htm

    Here are my results from Boston via Speakeasy.net (http://bos.speakeasy.net/)
    2003-08-06 22:38:04 EST: 1075 / 97
    Your download speed : 1075682 bps, or 1075 kbps.
    A 131.3 KB/sec transfer rate.
    Your upload speed : 97299 bps, or 97 kbps.
    Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

    Does anyone know if/when Adelphia is going to raise the upload? Looks like is capped at 128kbps.
