Accountant Recommendation

Can someone suggest a good, local accountant? The one I've used for the last 5+ years just decided to retire.

Irv Ackerman, CPA www.irvackerman.com We've been using him for 9 years now. He works out of his home office in Sterling, in the Broad Run Farms area.

There's a CPA firm in Chantilly that is very reputable and won the 2007 Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year which was awarded in 2008. The firm is Stitely & Karstetter, PLLC.

Their website is www.skcpas.com and they've got a really cool online client center where you can post documents and get email updates on the status of your returns as they are worked on. You can also get copies of current and prior returns online whenever you want in a secure environment if you want them posted. Great when you need a copy at 10:00pm in preparation for a loan app or refinance.

I know this firm intimately because I work there but I live here in Broadlands.
