Adult Swim: No Guard Today

    There was no guard again this morning (@5:45 and again a little after 6) and no "regulars" who had the number to call.

    Obviously, this is very frustrating for those of us trying to get a swim in before work.

    Maybe someone from NVR Pools should be calling the pool at 5:30 on T/TH and 6 on Wed to make sure their employees are arriving for work on time.

    Back in the day, I used to lifeguard at a pool that opened at 5:30am. The company paid us an extra $5 if we clocked in on time (we had a punch clock so they could tell). Back then, $5 was almost an extra hours pay.

    Just a follow up
    The guard who did not show on Tuesday was no longer working for NV as she has a family crisis she needed to attend to. Somehow that message was not passed along where it needed to be and thus there was no guard.

    However I have been able to schedule a makeup day this coming Friday 8/3 from 5:30am to 8am
