Anita's mexican restaurant has a very large sign in the window over by the skating rink that says opening soon!!!

I guess Cliff we are going to have to give this one to Neil.:)

I am not a fan of anitas, but what would get me real excited is an Rio Grande opening up close to here.

    OK ... I'm glad I won .. I think .. cause I don't remember saying anything about Anita's, except I like their food.

So much for this stuff I am going back to drawing pretty pictures and letting you all solve the worlds problems and traffic in Loudoun and I think I will be catching a movie or two in the new theater when it opens. :)

I'm happy when I'm right, especially when someone said I was wrong. =)

Lee, does this mean you'll now believe me when I said that Hobie paid 100% for the Lansdowne/Claiborne interchange?? Toll had nothing to do with it (except for building Claiborne Pkwy up to the bottom of the intchg)....

So where's Rio going? And is this confirmed information or a rumor to get us all excited?

We don't need more we just need a good one. :D

Being from Texas and have lived in California for a long time and spent and still spends a fair amount of time in Mexico and having many mexican friends the only place that comes close is the Rio Grande and still is not authentic mexican or tex mex, but it is the best we have out here. The new place in Landsdowne is ok but for me not as good as Rio Grande.

I think in comparison to Taco Bell, Del Ray is far superior.

    Bladerunner and others--

Yes, Anita's is better than Taco Bell--I agree!
Also, if you eat before 5 pm (especially on weekends and order from the Kids menu), you can SAVE money on your meals at Anita's and other places. If you want coupon offers/discounts for Anita's or other restaurants--sign up for their FREE newsletter/birthday clubs, etc. Anniversary dates also will work.

I have a listing of web sites for restaurant discount offers (local and national chains) if interested.

Anita's is the best microwaved Mexican food available in a restaurant.

I don't think it's very good at all. Being from the Southwest, Anita's really is sub-par for that style of dinning.

Once upon a time and many locations ago, Anita's was very good.

    I still enjoy their breakfast.
For dinner, though, we like Del Rio better.

i think taco Bell is BETTER than Anitas. went to the one in Vienna- cheese sauce was like generic velveeta with water added, no flavor in the meat- it was awful. would NEVER go there again.
