Another garage burglary-occupied house

FYI everyone. I wanted to let you know that one of my neighbors had their open garage entered this afternoon around 2:45pm. They were home at the time, their garage door had been left open and the knucklehead stole a bike.

The bus stop is right in front of their house so this incident was witnessed by three people, none of which really realized what was going on until it was too late (guy walks down pipestem, takes off on bike). Sheriffs office was contacted quickly thereafter.

If anyone sees a young black male, black hat, white shirt, dark pants, riding a young girls light lavender bike, please contact the Sheriffs office. And please remember to close your garages, even when you're home!

 

Absolutely a good habit to get into. We always close our garage door, but not because of someone taking something - but to keep critters out...
