My nephew did not close the kegerator tap all the way, and before anyone realized, the carpet was flooded...I've used a steam vac with carpet cleaner, but no luck as of yet.....any recommendations? thanks....

The best thing I have found is Pet Stain and Odor remover.

Off Topic- FWIW Old Dominion is advertising on their website that they are selling kegs again. I havent got all the info yet, but it used to be cheaper to get kegs directly from OD than it was to get them from a distro.

I was gonna PM you, I knew you'd know! lol....I'll give it a try....

I was reading the home brew posts, I'm going to get back in my home brewing phase, last brew was a few years ago, a nice honey brown ale.....everyone thought it was too strong, but I loved it....let me know when you have your tasting again...

Are they? awesome! I was sick of going to total beverage....now if we can get Fat Tire from total, I'd be happy...

You should be able to get total wine to special order. I check there every tuesday for new kegs(I am going to NoVa so its right across the street) and sometimes they have good stuff but it goes quick.

    From the old dominion website.

But Fat Tire is not carried anywhere out east here. That'd probably be one heck of a special order cost :)

To remove the smell/stain - try straight hydrogen peroxide. It isolates the proteins and cleans it right up. If you have a wet vac, even better - but a plain white towel will work too.

Also- if you are looking for weird beer labels, try World Market (one in Sterling, I think, and one in Tysons and Fairlakes) They carry some very obscure stuff, both beer and wine.

We used "Better Than New" - its a eco friendly pet/stain/oder remover, however it's somewhat hard to find. It works great on beer, vodka, patron and wine (not sure what color your carpet is, but other products may discolor your carpet) If you want PM and I can put some of the solution out for you to pick up.

Why would you want to get the smell out? :)

Kidding aside, you might try a product called Odoban.

Foosball table is unstainable and the poker table was treated with a staon shield just for these reasons.
