Anyone know what's up with all the blasting lately

    It seems to happen a few times *every* day now. Our whole house shakes whenever they do it. We used to get notices in our mailbox about times that they were expecting to blast, but that was a while ago. We're just really curious about this as we look at the crack in our foundation in the basement..... ;)

    My guess is they're blasting out the new housing development across Belmont Ridge, just north of the park/reservoir.

    afgm do you think about anything else besides these people? honestly.. it seems your life revolves around them because you interject the politicans into everything. Its not humor when you obcess about it.

    I also saw the drilling/blasting rigs at the future Harris Teeter site. They may have done some blasting back there.
