We are looking for a vet in Ashburn that would be up to the standards of Pender. 4-5 years ago, we tried 2 different vets and weren't happy so we decided to continue the annual trip to Fairfax. Now that the cat is in renal failure, our vet trips will be more frequent and we'd prefer something closer. Hoping there might be some good suggestions.

    TIA!

We have a 19 yr old with CRFand have experience with two local vets. Please pm me for information. It's rather lengthy to go into on the forum.
By the way, there's an excellent website called Tanya's Feline CRF. Invaluable information, especially for supplies. I have to administer subcutaneous fluid daily so I was purchasing 1000ml bags. Both vets charged between $26-30 for one bag with needles. Thanks to Tanya's website I purchase Ringers fluid on-line. I order 1 dozen (1000ml) bags for $28. I also order supplements at substantial savings.

Try Caring Hands in Southern Walk Plaza. We switched to them. They give you options to try to keep. Dr Bruzzese is wonderful. They are open 7 days a week too. So if you need a Sunday appt you don't have to go the emergency clinic.
