Anyone need an au pair - immediately?

Some friends of ours told us about an au pair that is looking for a new home and is available immediately. I have met him (yes, he's male!) a few times and he's extremely polite, seems like a great guy. He's from Germany. Unfortunately his host family was a little off, and things didn't work out, so he's looking for an immediate opportunity. I'm really surprised that the agency he is associated with has not found a new placement for him. My friend has used au pairs for years and she goes through an organization associated with the Dept of State and it has strict regulations.

 

Yeah, they are working on it. Turns out they aren't the greatest. My friend also got their au pair through them, and have had MANY issues with the agency (not the au pair - he's been great too, they just signed him for a 2nd year). The host family is just horrific. Everything happened very suddenly, so we're trying to help them out.
