Apple Cider Donuts & BBQ--Best place to visit for non-farmers--besides our Farm!

Fellow Foodies--

If you are looking for homemade Apple Cider Donuts, Apple Cider, and homemade BBQ, try the Apple House which is located in Linden, VA. The Apple House serves FRESH HOMEMADE APPLE CIDER DONUTS, CIDER, BBQ, ETC. which is pretty good for local fare. Of course, I am partial to my own apple goodies--

I will also post apple recipes for my homemade Apple Butter, Apple Cider Donuts, and other Fall recipes on the "Recipe Roundup..." post soon. I looked at their website and see they're off 66. As someone who is NOT from NoVa I've never heard of Linden and don't know how to figure out how many miles this place is from Broadlands. I'm interested in going, but would like to know how far it is and how I should get there!

The Apple House is easily accessible from I-66 West toward Front Royal, VA. Also, you can travel Hwy. 15 to Hwy 17 and the Apple House is located in Warren County, VA. It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours from Ashburn area. You can inquire by Mapquest or any other navigational devices.

Also, Marker-Miller Orchards is located in Winchester, VA and is great too for apples, etc. Columbus Day weekend--10/11/08-10/12/08--there is an Apple Harvest festivall at Marker-Miller Orchards.
