Ashburn Ruritan Annual Fruit SALE!!!

The Ashburn Ruritan Club will be selling fruit again this year in time for the holiday season. The Ruritan Club is a volunteer service organization that works in cooperation with the administrative staffs at 25 local elementary, middle and high schools to provide merit based scholarships and support for under-funded educational programs. In addition, the Ruritans provide financial assistance for needy children and emergency support for victims of local catastrophes through monetary gifts and volunteer service.

Our Club is selling Navel Oranges and Ruby Red Grapefruit. This fruit will be picked in the Indian River area of Florida on November 18th cleaned, boxed and shipped here for delivery on the 22nd (just in time for Thanksgiving). The fruit is Gift Box Quality called First Grade. Typically fruit sold at local grocery stores is Second or Third Grade.

We are offering the following selections:

2/5 bushel/20 lbs Navel Oranges

2/5 bushel/20 lbs Ruby Red Grapefruit

2/5 bushel/20 lbs Mixed Grapefruit/Oranges

Cost is $23 per box, or $21 per box if you preorder.

Fruit will be ready for pickup for one day only on Saturday, 22 November from 9:00-4:00pm in old Ashburn across from Carolina BBQ. Set your GPS for 20735 Ashburn Rd, Ashburn, VA 20147 and you’ll see our signs nearby. Cash, credit cards and personal checks accepted on day of sale.
