We've used Seneca on Catoctin Circle in Leesburg a few times and have been very pleased.
I've heard that Craftsmen are good.

I can't recommend Craftsman Auto Body. I used them (Falls Church shop) for a replacement bumper after getting rear ended on the beltway.

They could not match the color very well (gold). Gave me some BS about the computer selecting the color mix (computers are always right?) and the bumper being a plastic substrate versus the metal body of the car. Some how the old bumper matched well and the existing front bumper is a perfect match. They wanted to repaint the back end of the car to fade it in. But, the other driver's insurance company (State Farm) would not pay. Still considering my options - what a hassle.

Very Helpful ....... just had an estimate done from Craftsmen. It's a bumper related issue and he gave me the run down on paint matching. May go w/ Circle Auto now.

I recommend Craftsman. I've lived in this area 8 years. I've had 6 new cars in that timespan and 4 of them have had to get body work. I've been to many different auto body shops and find Craftsman to be the best body shop. I just had over $8k of work done to my TL because some truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel and rear ended me while I was stopped. Craftsman did the work in 5 weeks and did a great job. My other 3 cars that were repaired elsewhere I sold as soon as I got them back because I couldn't get a decent repair job done - regardless of the warranty. My TL, I'll be keeping. Thats how happy I am with the work. Good body shops are hard to find. Good luck.

BTW with all the accidents I've been in, the others were ticketed. The drivers around here suck!

I also recommend Craftsman (the shop on Bryant Court in Sterling -- no experience with any other location) - the cars have always looked good as new when they're done with the repairs.

Unlike vacliff, though, I would NOT recommend Seneca Auto Body. They didn't fix everything that needed fixing (after we had noted everything IN DETAIL when we took it in), and the vehicle had to go back in for another several days, another car rental, another bill to the insurance company... This was 4 or 5 years ago, so maybe they've improved, but I wouldn't go anywhere other than Craftsman now.

    I recommend Stingrays Autobody

    37224 E Richardson Ln
    Purcellville, VA 20132

yes, I Know Purcellville is a little hike, but Charlie and his crew do an excellent job, he gets the job done right the first time. His place is recommended by many of my friends in the automotive sports industry.

    Good luck

Wagon Werks in Alexandria (Rt 1, Glebe Road area) is one of the best in the D.C. area. They are expensive but very good at matching paint.
