Looked online at Baby Ballerina in Sterling, and the class schedule doesn't seem accomodating to classes and times I'm looking for. Wanted a weekend morning baby dance type of class as close to Ashburn as possible. Any advice? Current age of the child is 18 months and she is all about dancing and music... loves to move!

We love Baby Ballerina and Ms. Lori really focuses on the young ones. It is hard to find dance classes for that age group. If BB's schedule doesn't work for you, try Conservatory Ballet in Reston, Creative Dance Center, or Kindertots.

My daughter also loves Baby Ballerina. She has been going for 3 years and takes 2 classes a week. She loves Ms. Lori and Ms. Kristen. Ms. Kristen is a Reskinette and great with kids. (I think she's kinda my daughters hero)
Just looking at the Spring semester, which starts Monday, they have 2 Saturday morning classes for your daughters age group:
    Baby Ballerina @ 9:30 & Shake, Rattle, and Roll @ 10:00

Anything for BOYS? My little guy LOVES music and Mommy needs to get him socialized before I get him into daycare.

Villager, THANK YOU for the tip for Music with Maddy. Its great she has a free event on April 2nd, so I can see if its a good fit. Thank you again for the suggestion.

My boys always enjoyed Little Gym and I know Mr. Chad (one of the owners) teaches classes and plays his guitar and sings with the kids. It is great because it is social and the kids use lots of motor skills in a fun safe environment. Good Luck.

Mr. Chad is the best and he's usually teaches the morning classes in Ashburn.

I agree that he's great with kids. He even has at least 4 of his own!

To get back on topic about dance classes, I didn't mean to imply that Little Gym is only good for boys, because it is great for girls as well. And it is not just gymnastics. My daughter went there too, and even took a dance class right there in Ashburn. It is worth looking into. All my kids enjoyed it.
