I know this has been mentioned before on here, but I finally saw a bald eagle flying over Truro Parrish at 4pm. I'm hoping he's here to stay. With the population of eagles booming, they are running out of territory, so I think they are going to need to move inland. They are learning to adapt to eating other food besides fish, such as squirrels, etc. It would be great if we had a nesting pair right here in our neighborhood!

My son and I saw one today. It was in the pond/drainage to the right of Claiborne near the intersection with Gloucester Pkwy. It was sitting on a pile of sticks in the middle and took off while we were watching. It was amazing!
