We used to get our high-loft balloons from the party store on Ashburn Road. But since they closed, is there a place that will do bunches of balloons in Ashburn? I'd rather not haul to Party City in Leesburg or Sterling the morning of the party or deal with a personal-sized tank from Target. My daughter really wants balloons for her princess party.

    Thanks!

Try Seasons by Safeway or any grocery store.

I've gotten some at Harris Teeter and also at the card store by Safeway.

Thank you both! Seasons has them and they are not expensive :) We are good to go.

Isnt there a better way to tell the admins to move a thread? Like maybe a PM to one of the admins. Seems like a better way to me.

Can I just ask the proper forum to post this question in? I'm not a regular user of the boards, but this one seemed to be the best option. Thanks.

This forum is for "Broadlands-specific topics of concern", as it says.
There is another whole section for miscellaneous topics under "General Chat."
This thread is designed for things that are more specific to the Broadlands community.
Lansdowne arrests, balloons, etc. are more appropriate somewhere else.

    Sunny-
The person was asking for balloons. Because you can find balloons in Broadlands does not make it a "Broadlands Community Issue". If the person said they were looking for balloons and would only buy them in Broadlands, then I guess it would be okay to leave it here.

I have found over time that people post in the first forum category they see, rather than reviewing them all and picking the appropriate one.
I'm not trying to yell at anyone here, just trying to keep the threads in the Forums pertinent.

    Broken Skull-
I've found that this is an easy way to communicate with the Admins. And the post might explain to the original post-er why it was moved.

Anyway, the Admins might not agree and just leave it here!!
