(zoom out and pan around to get your bearings)

I was riding the bike around towing the kids and came across this barn (but it appeared in much better shape than this aerial view) via some trails near the Clydes and LCS building. I saw there was a bunch of gardening and beekeeping maybe going on -- Just wondering more about this place -- I never knew about it until yesterday =) It looked like there was someone there gardening or something.

That's Clyde's garden. They have it open to the public for a look around once in a while. We went last fall during their Fall 'fest.

Those barns are original from the farm that Broadlands used to be. One is a dairy barn, the other a storage/grain barn. Clydes restored them, and put in the gardens. They are organic, which is very cool. They grow herbs and veggies and use them at the restaurant. And they do have cool bee hives going too.

I understand that land is owned by our HOA and Clyde's is using/maintaining it. Barns were vandalized after they restored them. We hope to find a way to utilize this property for community use and work with Clyde's. (This is what I heard)

The land is not owned by the Broadlands HOA. It is owned by Van Metre and will eventually be part of their Commercial Property Association.

Thanks for clarifying Cliff, Clyde's GM told me that and I was not sure since it was something I never heard HOA owning.
