    Fellow Foodies--

Since we returned from vacation recently, friends of ours in Fairfax/Reston area took us to a Peruvian restaurant in Herndon that sells great Peruvian Rotisserie chicken and "fixins". It was called Pollos Inka Peruvian restaurant--Yummo!

christinaandrob, redon1--Also, I have tried redon1's recommendations for King Pollo's Peruvian Chicken. Great food for both places.

Other places to check out are The Pollo Factory and Pollo Inti which are located in Sterling, VA. Also, voted best in N VA magazine for 2005 was the Pollos Inka restaurant where we ate recently.

Web sites and/or addresses are below--

    www.kingpollo.atlatinos.com (King Pollo's site/info.)

King Pollo's address--22510 Sterling Blvd., Sterling, VA

    www.pollointi.com (Pollo Inti's site/info.)

Pollo Inti's address--4700 Community Plaza, Suite 122, Sterling, VA

    www.pollosinka.com/inicio.html (Pollos Inka's site/info.)

Pollos Inka's address--656 Elden St., Herndon, VA

The Pollo Factory's address is--156-J Enterprise St., Sterling, VA (No web site.)

    Good eats--

    Foodie;)

    redon1--

Glad to be home! Now for some sleep?:indiff2::) You are welcome!;)

Give Pollos Inka a try--great Peruvian cookies. There are coupons on Pollos Inka's web site too.

On a sidenote, I will provide more "free food samples" by Fall. We had alot of "farm stuff" going on with our produce, etc. this Summer. We will be selling our produce/farm products/pastries, etc. this Fall at local markets. I will keep you up-to-date on details.

    See "y'all"--

so as first time visitors, what should we order at Pollos Inka (hubby, wife, 3 kids who are fairly adventurous eaters)?

Pollo con papas. If you are adventurous then I'd recommend the fried yuca to go along with it instead of the fries. I get the 1/2 chicken when I go. I never make it past the chicken. It's so good.

    LOstSoul and others--

I concur with LOst Soul's opinion about Pollos Inka. Their food is great! We ate there today since we had a meeting with the leasing company at Reston Town Center for our future Mennonite Bulk Foods/Cafe/Farm Market business.:)

    Great food--
