Beware of Unkown Male Lurking in Area

I suppose it's possible they were land estimators or whathaveyou; however, I think anyone doing that type of work would possibly park in front of our homes and walk thru. The woods are extremely dense, prickery, and full of poison ivy, and the fellow behind three of our homes was very much on private property.

I would also think that such a person would identify himself to a homeowner if he was close enough to speak, which in two of the incidences the man was.

We are just being cautious, not overly paranoid...the police have been notified and have asked that anyone seeing anything suspicious to report it as soon as possible so they can figure out who it is. They will also be beefing up police presence in the area.

 

definitely doing the right thing! knowing that we are vigilant will hopefully deter criminals. plenty of thefts, home invasions and improper behavior recently between here and Brambleton. there ARE people up to go good around here- glad neighbors are keeping eyes open!!!

 

Was it daylight? Did you ask the person what they wanted? I would have especially if they are on private property.

 

We had a weird thing happen last night - we were sitting in our family room watching tv and our house backs to one of the walking paths. All of a sudden, we noticed a strange green dot shining on our wall above our tv. Hubby went outside to investigate, but didn't see anyone, our dog started barking and probably scared them away. We figured it was kids having some fun shining lights in someone's house......

 

Kids playing with laser pointers is becoming common.

I was driving past a line of charter buses, full of kids, a few weeks ago. I was lazed several times from the occupants of the bus.

Stupid kids do not realize what could happen.

 

My son and I were walking dogs 10pm last night on Chickacoan Trail and when we passed Ellzey there was a small group of bigger kids walking toward us with a green light like that. They weren't running around or being loud or anything.

 

we saw them too, they were just hanging out on the corner...

 

Ah Ha! It was a green light that was flashing on our wall the other night!
