Don't forget to fill your bird feeders! Mine was covered in birds within 30 minutes of refilling. It's hard for them to find food with all this snow.

We cleared an area on the ground just so we could continue feeding the ground feeders. Many winter birds will not use a tube feeder and sometimes will not go near a platform feeder. Ovey! But most of all, don't forget water. We had 26 cardinals this morning, mostly males. Their red against the white of the snow is spectacular.

They went through two full bird feeders yesterday, so I was out filling them up again this morning. We also scattered bird food on the snow for the ground feeders.

    Thanks for posting!
