I was wondering because it was nuts in that parking lot tonight. I went to Starbucks at 5:45 and there were barely any parking spots left!!

Bonefish has been discovered by the masses, but the other restaurant, 321 Ashland, opened this week also. I suspect a few people who may have wanted to try out the new restaurant, got freaked by the prices (they are reasonable for a fine dining experience but not for people who go to Outback) and decided to try Bonefish instead.

I called Friday around 2pm requesting reservations for the same evening. I was told the earliest reservation was at 9pm which I accepted. Needless to say, my husband came home and didn't want to wait that long for dinner so we arrived at the restaurant around 7:20 and decided to take our chances. To our great surprise and enjoyment, we were seated immediately at a prime table. We had (another) great meal and made it to Landsdowne in time to enjoy the live entertainment there.

And if you were not aware of it, the folks who manage/own Bonefish, in addition to the Outback, also own Morton's.

If you're a party of two there is usually less of a wait than for larger groups.

I quess we must be missing something - don't know what all the hype is for Bonefish. Truly - IMO - not worth any wait at all - I make better grilled fish in my own home......We went there the other night to use the coupon we got from there and was disappointed. It's not the best seafood restaurant, but then it's not the worst either. Just don't understand the masses of people going there and actually waiting. Oh well - Just my opinion. :D

The masses? It's not that big of a restaurant. Are you talking about all the Ashburn people who want a good local restaurant to go to?

Anyone go to 321 Ashland yet? I was wondering how it was. We ended up at our old standby San Vito. No table wait, good food and did not break the bank. I know some folks are blah on SV but I usually stick to their specials and they are pretty good better than outback for sure :)
