Need Advice Brink's Security

    Does anyone have the contact info of a local Brink's security person to come by and give a quote on hooking up the system. It's already in place but I need it turned on. Anyone have an idea on cost?

    Brinks became Broadview, which has now become ADT.

    um, so seriously... LOL.... who do I call around here to hook this thing up? A local ADT office??

    You should just be able to call the 800 number on the ADT site (or whoever installed the system) and they can activate it using your phone line/number. I don't think you need a local person for anything but installation purposes.. it's been 5 years so don't quote me on that...

    At the time I believe we were paying $35/mo.

    Yes, call ADT's 800 number. They will work with the Brink's hardware. If they send someone out for any updates, etc., their technicians are very good. And $35/mo is a good ballpark number.

    we have Brinks/Broadview/ADT... if it's a wireless system, they add 4 or 5 bucks a month as a "maintenance" fee--i guess b/c issues come up more frequently--but it's nice b/c they don't charge you to come out and look at the system. If you pay the full year in advance--you get a discount (5 or 10%).
