Broadlands Battle of the Bands!

    BANDS NEEDED!!!! JUDGES NEEDED!!! Know someone who plays an instrument in the Broadlands? Please pass this on- they are probably in a band!! Know someone who thinks they know every little thing about why Van Halen is so much better than Van Hagar? They are probably a consummate music critic and we need judges! Send 'em this way! Young, old and in between!!!
    The Battle will take place at Hillside Park next to the Old Stone House on the evening of September 13th(the day after the last Broadlands Live show).
    We are currently seeking bands from the under 18 and over 18 age group. Our entry determining factor is that at least one band member should be a Broadlands resident. Each band will be asked to provide a demo of a recording upon entry. Each group will play a twenty minute set during the contest. Judges will award prizes for the best overall band. Prizes will be $250 for the youth group and $500 for the adult group.
