Broadlands Carnival is coming- mark your calendars!

Mark your calendars--the 2nd annual Broadlands Carnival is set for August 28th from 4-7pm on the lawn of the Nature Center. We are excited to say that the carnival has expanded!!! This year we have a large 4-in-1 bounce house, kiddiepillar inflatable tunnel for the younger kids, rock wall, carnival games with prizes, balloon twisters, face painters and a juggling/magic act!! We again have free shaved ice and will have at least one food vendor selling food at a discount. BUT, we can’t pull this off without your help. We are looking for volunteers in half hour increments (more if you have the time) for the following:

5 carnival games
4-in-1 bounce house
Kiddiepillar tunnel
Set up (3-4pm)
Clean up (7-8pm)

Re: Broadlands Carnival is this saturday!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the Broadlands Carnival is this Saturday, Aug. 28th from 4-7pm in the back yard of the Nature Center. We will have carnival games with prizes, a 4-in-1 bounce house, kiddiepillar tunnel, rock wall, face painters, balloon twisters and shaved ice. Our entertainment this year is a man named Jonathan Austin--he's a roaming juggler/magician and he will be performing from approx. 4:30-6:30pm. Foster's Grill will also be on site selling hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. Please bring your family and enjoy the afternoon with us!

 

TODAY IS THE DAY! what a perfect day for the carnival... can't wait to check it out!

 

Thanks to everyone who worked to put together and make the carnival so much fun for the kids. It was a beautiful day and I LOVE this neighborhood!!!

seriously, my daughter enjoyed climbing the rock wall, winning prizes here and there, and enjoyed the nice misting system (well, maybe daddy did a bit more!)... good work guys!
