Redon1 I still have no clue what your name means, but it does not matter you are such a way cool person.

Baywatch's name really has a meaning and it has nothing to do with the beaches of California. ha ha ha

T8erman thanks for putting this HH together you and Kaos did a wonderful job, especially picking my favorite restaurant Anothai and my other favorite girl Lalida besides Dalyn. Well Lalida is always the gracious host and what a fun beautiful outfit she was wearing last night.

I was at Basil Thai with Flynnibus and Barbara. Flynnibus is my new best friend, sorry Barbara. We were doing bamboo shooters. I had them fooled, I told them they didn't have alcohol in them. Both believed me and "clicked" at the chance to see what it was. They really don't like tricksters. hahahaha

Either I missed the real thing, or you guys did.

 

Truthfully, I was busy with the back to school thing and couldn't make it. Hopefully, there will be a second gathering, I think it's a fantastic idea.

 

All, there will certainly be more HH's. I will start contacting various establishments to see what deals I can work (if any - Clydes????). In addition to Lee, there is also a possibility that some of your fellow posters will graciously host events at their homes.

Hopefully we can generate a better turnout at the next one regardless of where it may be.

I also echo what everyone else here has posted. It was a pleasure to meet some all of you in person!

And Lalida - thank you and your staff for being wonderful hosts! We will back back.

It actually was quite funny! Unfortunately it's somewhat of an inside joke.

 

I didn't go either--school things myself, plus commission starts back up next week with a SEVENTEEN ITEM AGENDA, yikes.

It was tempting to envision sitting nearby, but I thought it might be a happier hour if I didn't go, given my completely non-controversial outsider status! Maybe near Christmas, if there is a Holiday Happy Hour--what better sequel to an HH than an HHH?

Sounds like it was a lot of fun.

I was there in spirit (and a brief cell phone call to hubby)! Lalida, the food was wonderful too! The carryout that hubby brought home was piping hot and super yummy. I am in love with the peanut dressing on the house salad!
