Broadlands hosts Dulles District candidates

Broadlands HOA will be hosting the two candidates running for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Dulles District seat.

Both events will be held at the Broadlands Nature Center, 21907 Claiborne Blvd, from 7-9pm. The dates are:
Stevens Miller October 10.
Steve Snow October 18.

The candidates will be given time for a formal presentation and there will be plenty of time for
audience questions.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to meet the candidates that would like to represent you for the next four years.

 

Any chance we can get them to appear together to answer questions? Since Snow is skipping out on the League of Women Voters debate?

 

There has to be atleast one debate....can someone provide me those details?

 

Unfortunately, tonight's LWV forum was/is the debate for Dulles voters. They have already participated in forums with the AARP and the Chamber of Commerce (video online as previously mentioned in the LWV thread). Neither of these had rebuttal time that you think of as a 'debate' though, and they were for all the supervisor races, so Dulles time was short. There's another forum, as has already been mentioned in the other thread, being held by the Easterner. That one is going to cover 5 races and be held in Sterling (see AFGM's earlier post in the other thread).

If Snow doesn't show tonight, it's quite possible there will be no real Dulles debate. I'd encourage you to contact him.

My guess is Snow may chicken out of this one legged Broadland forum. I think he's afraid to debate himself. That's a scary thought.

 

What I find ironic is that Mr. Snow seems to think the "Loudoun Easterner" debate is worth attending, but the League of Woman Voters debate is not. His rational, the LWV isn't sponsoring a debate for State Senate or State Delegate races.

Well, here's a news flash: there is no State Senate or State Delegate debate being sponsored by the "Loudoun Easterner" either. Why isn't Mr. Snow using the same litmus test with the LE?

Hypocritical or just politics? I wonder what he is running away from and/or doesn't want to talk about.
