One less Starbucks on this planet is not something to lose sleep over. Drive around the corner and you are sure to find another one.

Yes, I think Cafe Rumi would do relativily well at that location. Why don't you suggest it before he comes due to renew his lease?

we've chatted about moving before... it's awfully expensive. now if EVERYONE in ashburn went at least once a week and had a fabulous omelette, or sandwich, or gelato, or baked goods- maybe he could raise moving money! lol

here's a coupon for all to use- just click and print! IT EXPIRES THURSDAY.

THEY ARE NOT PAYING ME TO DO THIS- I am simply a dedicated fan of this awesome place...

Peak service was good there, but off-peak it was a bit slow.

Went to the Broadlands Starbucks this morning and found the barista fabulous, but the cashier was HORRIBLE. Couldn't keep anything straight. And that location is terrible! No easy in or out. Between that and the fact that they have a Starbucks store next to a Safeway that has a Starbucks, I am wondering who's making these decisions in Seattle?

If Dunkin Donuts could make a good espresso, I'd go there. Coffee ok, but lattes no way! Guess there's always Caribou in Brambleton.

But same issue as the Starbucks, not easy in/easy out.

I never had bad servcice there when I went to get my Chai tea latte. I figured if they had held out until the new roads opened up, they'd have been successful.

The problem with getting another company in there is I heard Starbucks is not giving up the lease on the space just closing the doors. For now we will just have another empty store front and no new service. I guess they are hoping that once the road is open and some of the offices are built they will re open.

They probably signed a long-term lease and it's cheaper for them to just pay the rent and not have to pay for salaries, utilities, supplies, etc, until market conditions turn around.
