Has anyone ever put string lighting in the bottom bunk of a child's bunk beds? I'd love to know if someone has done it successfully and had no problems with short circuiting or fire. My son is learning to read and we'd love to have some kind of lighting in his bottom bunk at night time. Let me know. Send pics if you have any.

    Thanks!

as an alternative, you may want to consider battery powered LED lights. Check home depot or lowes, they are the size of a hockey puck and you dont have to worry about the wires or voltage.
