We have a couple of huge dead trees in our yard that we need to get rid of before they fall on someone or something. Any recommendations for reasonable and reliable cpanies would be appreciated. Thanks!

We use a guy named Bobby Rose. He comes up from Orange, Va and is very reasonable. His number is 540-522-2179. He's very reasonable compared to the companies in the Northern Virginia area.

Highly recommend: The Care of Trees. They are a little bit pricey but so worth the money. I also believe that the Broadlands HOA uses them too.

Ditto. Also owned by a Broadlands resident.

Are you sure? It's an employee owned company though and it's based out of Illinois.

Jeremy Baker. Maybe they sell franchises. He ran for the HOA Board one year.

Tim Corbin did a great job removing several overgrown/diseased trees in our yard this weekend. He was fast, efficient, and when he was done I could barely tell he'd had a bunch of equipment in our yard. He also did a great job giving advice about some of the other trees in our yard. We will be having him back to do more work in our yard in the fall.

I highly recommend him. Tim Corbin http://www.timcorbinstreeservice.com

:2thumbs: for Tim and Brenda Corbin. His Dad too, did some work for us before he retired. Tim knows his trees and their rates are very competitive.

Thanks everyone! I ended up using Davey Tree Service (they're affiliated with Care of Trees) and they did a fantastic job.

I have a river birch that needs to be moved but am hoping it's not going to cost an arm and a leg to replant it vs taking it down. I am interested in rates.

We spent about $600 and had 3 large arborvitae, a large wild cherry, and a few bushes removed. Hope it helps.

    Yes. Tim Corbin

I had some tree roots growing under the bricks and threshold at my front door. He was able to fix the roots, repair the brick the way it should of been, without hurting the tree. He did an excellent job cleaning up and hauling away. I'm sure he'd do a great job - highly recommend him.
