Car repair - mechanic

Now that my car is no longer under warranty and I have to pay for any repairs - where is a good honest mechanic in our area to do service maintenance and inspections?

I almost hate to share this info (don't want them to get too busy...), but we have gone to Ashburn Service Center in the Ashburn Village shopping plaza since they opened. We have found them to be very honest and reasonably priced. They've even refused to do work on one of my cars because it was subject to a recall, even though Ford denied a recall existed-Ashburn Service Center printed up the info for me to take to the dealer. So, I would highly recommend them. They do all the oil changes, inspections, emmissions and any other issues on all three of our cars. 703-723-9499. Good luck!

I can second your recommendation of Ashburn Service Center. They are honest and priced fairly. The owner, Bruce Ellis, is a Brambleton resident. He and his shop have received several favorable recommendations from others here in Brambleton. I do think they are getting busy but they have always managed to fit us in. Good luck.

(Mike) Fallon Automotive is AWESOME. Located on Lane Ct. off Old Ox by the cement place. Recently had our SUV in for serpentine belt and front brakes. A few places quoted $600-700 range, he came in just over $400.
