Am now looking for $6,000... wouldn't it look GREAT in your driveway with a big red bow on top for your family's new driver? Imagine your teenage son's excitement at the POWER this car has, and your peace of mind at the feet of metal an object would have to pass through before causing bodily damage...

Would definitely not recommend this car to a high schooler. Insurance would be high even with only 260hp. Maintenance would also be high like new tires etc.

Actually, the insurance isn't bad - same category as the Chevy Caprice, and this particular one has fairly new tires... Maintenance costs on this car (as it is a fairly common domestic car) are nothing compared to some of the foreign car "hand-me-downs" people might be considering.
