We're having out of town company this weekend and was wondering if anyone has gone to Clydes for Sunday Brunch and if so - was it good and what kind of things were offered? Also price? I was also considering Panache Cafe - anyone been there for brunch? Any comments, positive or negative are greatly appreciated! THANKS.

As far as I'm concerned Clyde's consistently looks prettier than it tastes. Food has been so so. I have only been for dinner, to be fair.

However, Cafe Panache is one of our most favorites for brunch. It is gourmet and higher class. We have been several times, for brunch and for dinner. Both absolutely delicious! The brunch menu is one page and has tasty french toast, eggs benedict, steak and eggs, mesclun salad with goat cheese and pears, etc. You can also order mimosas as a part of the breakfast. My vote goes with panache.

I also love McCormick and Schmicks for brunch.

Thanks for your help. I've eaten at Clydes for lunch and dinner, but never brunch.....so I was wondering. I agree with you that the atmosphere is a lot better than their food IMO.

We went for a brunch about 2 mos. ago, and were for the most part disappointed. Overall the food is decent, its just the selection is minimal, and overpriced.

Pretty much the standard Clyde's experience.

I agree with above. Panache is the way to go.
