Coat drive only 4 more days

We are collecting coats for four more days at the Nature Center. Please bug your friends, your family, your neighbors for coats that they don't need or use anymore and drop them off in the crate at the Nature Center.

If you are unable to make it there during regular business hours, I will be happy to come by your home and pick up the coats after work.

The coats will go to the Good Shepherd Alliance. They will be given for free to the clients of the shelter. Any coats that are not needed by the clients will then go to the GSA thrift store to bring in money for GSA. If anything doesn't sell, it will be shipped to a central location to be given to international charities. NO COAT WILL BE LOST OR DESTROYED, EVERY SINGLE COAT WILL SERVE A GOOD CAUSE !!!

Even though this is a coat drive, if you have other clothing items that you would like to get to the GSA, I will be happy to get them there together with the coats. I will be driving over there anyway, so it is no big deal.

I want to thank everyone that has already donated and those that will still donate for their generosity with this. If you are looking for additional venues for charity, feel free to contact me, I have information for multiple venues of family adoption both here and in Fairfax county.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll have hubby go through his, I've already gone through mine and the kids'. We'll drop them off tomorrow.

 

I will be making the final pick-up today after work. If you discover a coat you wish to donate after today, please PM Marianne or me.

For all the people who donated coats, thank you very much. It is getting cold out there and thanks to you, some people will be a little less cold this winter.
