Does anyone else besides me think it is wrong for a group of High school kids to be roaming round after midnight in our neighborhoods?

What possibly could they have been doing ? Just saying dont be creeping around my house!

They were knocking down a snowman built in our yard. It was a snowman that was decorated and worked on by my 3 and 5 year old. Very sweet aren't they.

The sheriff told me that if we see teens outside after 10 pm with backpacks on to call the non-hotline sheriff line and they wil dispatch someone to see what is going on.

That's 703-777-1021, a good number to have programmed in your cell phone.

I've heard of response times under 5 minutes. Not like a big city where they do not respond unless there are shots fired...

Anytime you see anything that you feel uncomfortable about, feel is wrong, or even just seems out of place please call the sheriff's department. You are not getting people in trouble, or bothering the sheriff's department. It is their job so call them and let them handle the situation appropriately.

    The number again is 703 777 1021

Lately I've been listening to the Fairfax county police radio scanner feed on radioreference.com . Loudoun sheriff's dept is not on there but Loudoun fire and rescue is.

Anyway, in listening to Fairfax police, I can tell you that they will respond to anything and everything. After you listen for a while you get a feel for what people call in to report and some of the stuff is just crazy. You also get a new perspective of all the disturbing things that happen around here.
